VIASYS products may be repaired through a variety of service and support interventions. In approximately 80-85% of our technical-support interventions, we are able to rectify a problem the first time without a service call or a parts order.
On occasion, however, we will need to dispatch a field service engineer (FSE) to resolve a problem. An expert team of tenured service engineers represents the VIASYS field service organization. Each FSE is challenged and given incentives to cross-train on as many VIASYS Healthcare products as possible to expand our coverage options and to reduce the response time when an on-site service intervention is required.
Because our FSE distribution is uniform by population centers and installed base, our ability to respond is superior, eclipsed only by our accountability.
No other service entity can supply the depth of support that we provide. Our field service organization is integrated with the repair parts system and the supply centers throughout VIASYS, allowing priority dispatch of parts and supplies to the VIASYS representatives. Other, third-party service entities cannot guarantee the response, parts and software support, and the overall quality necessary to assure 100% customer satisfaction.
