Jenni is 21 years old. When she was 16 in a car accident that left her a ventilator
dependant quadriplegic. Jenni attends college and hopes to become a motivational speaker. She does all this with the
assistance of her small, lighweight LTV ventilator. Jenni lives with her family in Minnestoa, in the US.

Matt was injured in Iraq on February 24, 2007. He was shot by a sniper. He was shot in the
right side of his neck, which severed his spine, clipped an artery and his left lung and exited out of the
left side of his back. Matt is quadriplegic; however he has moved his left arm! Matt successfully
rehabilitated his lungs with the help of the flow sensitive LTV ventilator. Matt lives with his wife in Colorado, in the US.

MJ Purke is referred as the "SMA Queen". She's committed to motivating others with Spinal
Muscular Atrophy and helps them remain positive by sending out monthly cards, Beanie Babies, and has
now begun creating blankets that she has sent out to over 160 kids in four different countries. MJ attends
college, is extremely focused, and has a strong will to succeed and survive. MJ lives in Ohio, in the US

Copeland was born at 26 weeks and has been on a ventilator his whole life.
But not forever! As of January 2008, little Copeland is weaning off his LTV ventilator. With the Flow
trigger sensitivity of the LTV ventilator many patients, gain or regain, lung function and wean off
ventilators entirely. Copeland's respiratory therapists think he will be completely off his ventilator
within the year. The entire RT staff at Children's hospital is planning on attending his first
baseball game as a player like his brothers. Copeland and his family live in Alabama, in the US.
